The  DL-200P is the pre-amplifier using the current feedback Technology that translates to a high-speed slew rate and high current driving capability.  The power supply uses a high 80VAC transformer and the power filtering is unique. 2 sets of capacitor banks are in place while one set of bank A is connected to the amplifier circuit adding as a power reservoir,  another bank B is responsible for filtering the AC ripple into DC mode. Bank B gets connected to the step-down transformer and rectifier to charge up and then isolates itself to transfer the charges to Bank A. Then it disconnects from Bank A and back to charge from the rectifier. This forms a perfect isolation of the amplifier circuit from the power transformer and rectifier noise. The pre-amplifier is a fully balanced circuit and every other input including ground is fully isolated when not in use. Only the selected input will be connected to the circuit when selected. The unique feature of this pre-amplifier beside the power supply will be volume control. Conventional pre-amps use voltage dividers for their volume control. The DL-200P uses R2R to control the gain stage of the current feedback amp which reduces tone changes associated with conventional voltage divider volume control due to the stray capacitance associated with cable, connectors, and circuit board. This pre-amplifier also has 2 types of output called modern and classic. The Modern mode is where the output is in the purest form with no resistors network in the signal path which means it will get more dB output. The Classic mode is where a resistor network is added to improve the signal-to-noise ratio which can be used with other amplifiers or speakers with high sensitivity
